Requirements
Illinois Dental Careers requires that applicants are 18 years or older by the time of their program completion and hold a high school diploma or GED. Beyond this, there are no restrictions in joining Illinois Dental Careers to advance your dental career. Students are eligible to enroll in dental assisting or orthodontic assisting programs.Â

Orthodontic Assistant Training
An orthodontic assistant is a dental assistant who works with patients who are undergoing orthodontic treatment using orthodontic appliances.
Dental Assistant Training
Dental assistants have many tasks, ranging from providing patient care and taking x rays to record-keeping and scheduling appointments.Â

We will be offering CPR, Basic Life Support, HIPAA and OSHA certification classes for healthcare professionals.
Tuition
Payment Plans
Orthodontic Assisting Program Payment Plan
$750 down payment upon signing of enrollment agreement, followed by 8 weekly payments of $187.50.
Dental Assisting Program Payment Plan
$1000 down payment upon signing of enrollment agreement, followed by 10 weekly payments of $300.
Dental and Orthodontic Assisting Program Payment Plan
$1000 down payment upon signing of enrollment agreement, followed by 10 weekly payments of $364.20.

Please note, students are responsible for obtaining their scrubs and gym shoes or clogs to wear in class.
